Ingredient

  • Butter
  • Chili powder
  • Garlic
  • Asparagus
  • Salt & pepper
  • Lemon juice
  • Atlantic red shrimp
  • White wine

Red shrimp and asparagus in lemon garlic butter sauce

How to cook

  1. Heat the butter in a large sauté pan over medium heat until the butter is completely melted and begins to brown.
  2. Add crushed red pepper and garlic and saute for 1 minute or until garlic is fragrant.
  3. Pour in the white wine, stir well and let the mixture boil gently. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, salt and pepper then cook for 2 minutes. 
  4. Add asparagus and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.
  5. Add shrimp to the pan and continue to simmer until shrimp is cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes. Add basil.
  6. Turn off the stove. Taste and add more seasoning or lemon juice if needed. 
  7. Complete the dish and present it on a plate.
