Red King Crab with Ponzu Ginger

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (approximately 900g) King Crab Legs (thawed)
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
  • Ginger Ponzu Cocktail Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons ponzu sauce
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish – adjust to desired spiciness
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • A pinch of chili sauce

How to cook

  1. Thaw the Red King Crab merus meat per package instructions, refrigerate until ready to serve.
  2. To make Ponzu Ginger Cocktail Sauce, mix the ketchup, horseradish, and ginger ponzu juice together.
  3. When ready to serve, cut King Crab merus meat into bite sized pieces. Neatly arrange the leak leaves on a tray of crushed ice and top with King Crab. Serve with a ramekin of Ponzu Ginger Cocktail Sauce and lemon wedges. Enjoy!
